Tim Hoffman - CEO and Trainer

Timothy Hoffman - President and founder of Alida Connection. He has significant start-up experience having led several small businesses from the ground-up, developed and managed all aspects of the business, and ensured sound operations throughout the financial, operational, business development, human resources and administration areas.

Tim is also the Executive Vice President of the Information Systems Security Association Colorado Springs Chapter. Mr. Hoffman is a former US Navy Cryptologist, former founder and Radio Show Host of the Dot Com Hour, Denver Infragard chapter and other organizations. He has strong ties with the Certification and Accreditation community. His personal C&A work spans the Accreditation of a large number of Sites, Systems, and computers running POSIX, UNIX, and Microsoft Windows. His involvement with C&A dates to the work he did with the team that created the DITSCAP concept in 1993.

Mr. Hoffman holds computer security and IT certifications such as: CISSP, GCIH, ISP, C|EH, CNDA, Security+, Network+, CTT+, Expert Rating PmP, VBSS GB, MCP – MCSE - MCT (NT4), IBM PSS, and the NSA CS-007. He has co-authored several books such as: Network+ Certification Guide, TCP/IP for Windows 2000, TCP/IP for Windows NT4, MS Proxy 2.0. Tim often lectures and writes blogs and white papers on computer security.

 

David Henson – Director of Online Operations at Alida Connection. David has over 25 years experience in various areas of information technology having worked in the areas analysis, design, and implementation of large scale and distributed computer applications. He also has significant experience in education having earned Master’s degrees in Computer Science and also in Information Systems Security/Project Management. David is currently a pursuing a PhD in Computer Science at Colorado State University (Fort Collins) researching Network Security. As the Director of Online Operations David leads the development and operation of Alida Connection’s online training and mentoring programs. David is the Volunteer Coordinator for the Information Systems Security Association Colorado Springs Chapter and is a member of both the IEEE and ACM.

 

Jeremy Martin - Senior Security Researcher and Trainer

Jeremy Martin - Is a Senior Security Researcher that has focused his work on Red Team penetration testing, Computer Forensics, and Cyber Warfare. Starting his career in 1995 Mr. Martin has worked with fortune 200 companies and Federal Government agencies, receiving a number of awards for service. He has been teaching classes such as the Advanced Ethical Hacking, Computer Forensics, Data Recovery, and Security Management (CISSP/CISM) since 2003. He is also a published author and speaks at security conferences around the world with current research projects including vulnerability analysis, threat profiling, exploitation automation, anti-forensics, and reverse engineering malware.

Mr. Martin currently holds over 20 professional certifications including: CISSP-ISSAP/ISSMP, CISM, NSA-IAM/IEM, CEI-C|HFI/C|EH/CNDA/ECSA/LPT, IPTQ/IPTE, CEPT/CASS/CDRP, ACE, CHS-III, ACSA, CCNA, Network+ and A+

He is active in the Information Security/Assurance world and is the current President for the Open Information Systems Security Group (OISSG) while sitting on the Board of Directors for Denver’s Infragard chapter. Jeremy is also on the Advisory Board of the Business Espionage Controls & Countermeasures Association.

 

Angela Hoffman - Instructional Strategist  Security Training Programs

Angela Hoffman - M.Ed, is the Instructional Strategist for Alida Connection. Angela has over twenty years of experience as a professional educator. Angela brings a unique skill-set to the Alida team instruction methodology. Her primary experience and training is in brain-based learning, multisensory learning, instructional best practices, differentiated instruction, and more.
